First race of the year: US Snowshoe Association and X Dog

More snow in Portland today. Snow again last week - seems to be the theme for this year, so far. So, it's fitting that my first official race of the 2009 season was the Citizen's 5K at White River. The X Dog crew and USSSA were great. Good run, perfect deep, powder, and sunny skies for most of the morning. Great training race to catapult me into Shamrock next week.
