adding in the tempo

Eugene Marathon training is becoming a bit more formalized with a Saturday tempo run. Ran two miles at 6:40 pace, two miles at 6:30 pace, and a mile at 6:20, with another mile warm up and warm down.
Friday 10 miles, Thursday 3 miles total with 2 at variable speed at 5:00 to 6:00 pace, Wed 10 miles, Tues 3 miles total with 6 x 400 at 5:20 pace, Monday easy 4 miles, and Sunday 12 on trail.
With the tempo intact, I can ramp up the mileage of the Sunday long run, and the speed will follow.
