Winter Training Program

Groundhog Day marks our first (free) group run in our Winter Training Program, 9:00am Saturday, February 2, at the Thurman Road end of Leif Erickson. Thanksgiving, X-Mas, and New Year's have come and gone, and now it's time to get in shape for the 2013 season. Check out the best races around on our Race Calendar.

Want to train for the Shamrock 15K? or the 5K or 8K on St Patrick's Day, March 17? (Team Registration deadline is January 31, and individual entry fees increase on Feb 1.) Shamrock Run Portland  And / or, do you want to train for the (free, Fat Ass style group run) Wildwood City Marathon? Why not kick off the season with an urban, very Portland, not flat, trail marathon course that you run just for the hell of it?

Some of you may have already experienced the warm and sunny 2013 White River Snowshoe, the oldest and largest snowshoe run in the west. If not, you can check out the video here.

Starting in April, we'll shift the training runs into the Gorge. Right now, there's a bit of snow and ice.
