It was a fairly competitive race this year, doubly so with the addition of the Aussie Double Pumice Man. In addition to the Greater Portland Area, we had triathletes in from Salem, Sisters, The Dalles, Hood River, Madras, Sandy, and Bend. Also, parts of Washington were represented, as well as Idaho, Colorado, and even Australia.
The camping and weekend festivities were bigger than ever, and we're already planning for next year. Special thanks goes out to Portland Running Company, Cyclepath, I.C.E. Bands Northwest, USA Triathlon, Anglers' Restaurant, Pine Hollow Lakeside Resort, and the First Responders.
And yes, we do have the video of the guy who lost his swimsuit, but we won't post it online because...what happens in Wamic stays in Wamic.
