What is the sound of one hand clapping? As a Duck, it's nice to see Oregon trounce Oregon State at this year's Civil War football game. But with a little luck and a little skill, anyone can beat the Beavers. What's vastly more impressive is the Oregon men's cross country team taking the national title again this year. Both the men's and women's cross country team had taken West Regionals, and the Oregon women placed an impressive second place in the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
So, the week of the Civil War victory, who is named Athlete of the Week on goducks.com? Not quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, but Galen Rupp, and rightly so.
